Also, an alert from United Airlines to people on his flight because of reports of duncan falling ill after helping a sick liberian woman. And now a patient in hawaii put in isolation over possible ebola concerns. Here is nbcs jay gray. Reporter still in isolation inside this dallas hospital, thomas eric duncan, a liberian national, the first patient diagnosed with ebola in the United States continues to fight for his life. Were categorizing his condition as serious but stable. Reporter duncan showed no symptoms when he left west africa on september 19th, but days later he was sick and made his first visit to Texas Health Presbyterian hospital where he told an intake nurse he had just traveled from liberia, an obvious red flag but he was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics.
