Washington Township Public Schools’ 27th annual Helping Hands hoagie sale has raised $17,000 to help local families in need, $10,000 of which was realized thanks to a “helping hand” from Liscio’s Family Bakery owners and operators Chad Vilotti and James Liscio and the staff at their three stores.
Since COVID-19 protocols prevented student volunteers from assembling and selling hundreds of hoagies, as in years past, Liscio’s agreed to sponsor a promotion that donated 25% from the sale of hoagies and hoagie trays purchased using a special code in their stores from Feb. 1-8 to the Helping Hands hoagie sale fund.
