in the beginning were thinking, you know, this will be a one-term president. harris: he said that. they weren t thinking it. he had actually said it. he was going to pass the torch. i think there is really one circumstance where we know joe biden will run again. i think joe biden will run again if trump is the gop nominee. i will say it again, harris, if anybody takes harris: wait a minute. the president doesn t really have his own agenda? he can t explain what s worked. he can t run because he has a burning desire in his heart? it is all because of the other guy? it s a rhetorical question for now but you can answer it next time. david and jason. good to see you. thank you. all right. so we had art laffer on earlier. he explained about that zero inflation. and how the month previous it was at 17% and that is an average over time. the liberal media will sell you
power panel now, david avila, jason nichols. gentlemen, great to have you in focus. power panel. let s go. jason, your first response to that question that i just asked. will all of this be enough to move voters? well, first of all thank you for having me, harris. i think i hope democrats actually learn a lesson that you don t wait until the 11th hour to tout your accomplishments. there is someone on the other side who is always screaming about your shortcomings hour after hour. we know president biden has passed legislation on gun reform that respected people s second amendment rights, infrastructure bill that the other administration couldn t pass, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, fulfilling his promises on climate. i think that they needed to yell this a little bit earlier and needed to talk about this a little bit earlier. whether it will make a difference in november remains to be seen.
with his conviction on what is needed for the american people making sure that we build this economy from the bottom up and the middle out. do not leave anyone behind and you see that anti-inflation bill, you see that it is going to lower costs for americans. this is something that president biden campaigned on. this week he stood up to the special interests and got it done. harris: all right. these are the practice plays. we now know the white house is about to start a media blitz after a string of policy and political wins. it is 85 days until the mid-term elections. the administration is banking on voters taking notice of it all. political playbook headline. inside the white house s plan to sell itself. the message will be a version of we did what we said we would do. a second massive bill. a big piece of biden s agenda passed last week. the president is expected to sign it in the next few days. for all of his failing poll numbers and crises, will it be enough to move voters?
these policies coming out of the democratic party. harris: jason. yeah, i mean i think a lot of people, you know, were offended by voting against the pact act which dealt with veterans healthcare and a lot of people offended by some of the things republicans have done and all the investigations. i think we ll see what happens in november. i think you are counting your chickens before they hatch a little bit if you think that republicans are going to have big wins particularly in the senate. i think the senate is very much could go the way of democrats. they could expand their lead. i think anybody who thinks this will be a big slaughterhouse moving forward first of all doesn t know local electoral politics. but also, you know, i think there again getting ahead of themselves. as far as joe biden running again, i think a lot of people
spending all this money and it will cost you and people below the billionaire level a lot of money on trying to defend themselves from these types of audits. it will cause a lot of anxiety. when you see the letter come in, i.r.s. audit notice, it sends your blood pressure through the ceiling. i have been audited lots of times as you can imagine. harris: we know sometimes the i.r.s. can get greedy when it wants to go after certain people and we ve seen it happen, lois lerner. president biden may feel good about recent political wins and now big plans reported on how he and his team will try to capitalize on all of it. whether voters with buying what they will be selling. the mid-terms just one of the president s concerns on the flip side of all that happiness. tell us if you think that he should run again or not. we have to keep the house,
