state of the union address back in 2021, and so that was a moment where folks across the country who tuned in got to see senator scott really articulating his vision for the republican party and what he thought they stood for compared to democrats. as we talked about about before, his biography, not just his race, but you know, his life as ali was mentioning from poverty to where he is now, but the question of course in terms of strengths and to your point earlier, in terms of the republican primary electorate, trump has such a sizable hold on those folks that it seems difficult for someone like senator scott who s presenting this more maybe mainstream conservative alternative to really get a sizable chunk of those people while also, you know, appealing to the other people this the primary, and of course the republican general electorate is totally different or at least more varied than the primary electorate. that is where former president

oppression. but you see, this isn t just my story. it s all of our stories. the circumstances and the situations may be different, the details may change, but every single one of us are here because of the american journey where there were obstacles that became opportunities and our pain revealed our purpose. if you believe that, somebody say amen. but unfortunately under president biden our nation is retreating away from patriotism
