A new virtual tribute concert in honor of late singer-songwriter Adam Schlesinger has been announced. Organized by his Fountains of Wayne bandmate Jody Porter, the lineup includes Courtney Love, Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba, Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees, Sean Ono Lennon, Smashing Pumpkins’ James Iha, Patrick Carney from the Black Keys, and many more.
Adam Schlesinger, A Music Celebration, Virtual Show will take place May 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern. Tickets for the stream are available now; all proceeds will benefit MusiCares and the Bowery Electric, the currently-shuttered Manhattan venue where the concert was filmed.
