Loved Ones Remember Two Kids Killed in Hamilton County Crash on Way to Prom
ARCADIA, Ind. Jody Conaway’s world turned upside down on Saturday when she found out her daughter, Kalen Hart, and Hart’s boyfriend, Lendon Byram, would not make it over for pictures before prom.
The couple died in a crash near the intersection of 281st Street and Lacy Road near Arcadia.
Conaway said it was a night the two had been looking forward to for quite some time.
“I didn’t even get to see her in her prom dress with her hair done and her makeup done, and I mean I’ve gotten to see her partially in her prom dress in the last two days when I’ve went to the coroner’s office to see her,” said Conaway.

Two high school students from Arcadia, Indiana, were killed in a car crash while they were on their way to prom Saturday, police said.
Deputies were alerted of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 281st Street and Lacy Road at approximately 5:15 p.m., WTHR reported, citing the Hamilton County Sheriff s Office.
