Centennial Bank partnering with Beacon to host ‘Network at Night’ chamber event June 16

Gone are the days of the Chamber of Commerce monthly business card exchanges. The Greater Pine Island Chamber of Com-merce is kicking off “Network at Night” on Wed-nesday, June 16, to encourage business people to connect with one another, complete with appetizers, drinks and snacks, hosted at Centennial Bank, partnered with the Beacon of Hope.
“I think the chamber has made some really great and significant changes,” said Centennial Bank manager and Beacon of Hope board member Elsie Stearns. “So many people are moving to the island and so many businesses are opening up, so the timing is perfect for the chamber to revamp and do things differently in a positive way. I’m really honored and excited that they picked Centennial for the location. We have a beautiful building to partner and co-host with the Beacon of Hope to have this event.”
