But police say it all started around 8 oclock last night when this man, em knocked on n the door of a home on autumn drive which is not too far from here. They say a young child answered the door. The man assaulted that child, then fled in a stolen vehicle. He then crashed into a man at a nearby shopping center, carjacked that guy, assaulted him and then he left the scene. Now, officers responding to the child assault call spotted him on the road and after a pursuit, the suspect crashed into a van carrying seven people near this major intersection.
