The Republican-American is saying farewell to our long-time theater columnist and critic Joanne Greco Rochman. To salute Rochman, here is a classic column from Dec. 13, 201 that illustrates her approach to the Connecticut theater scene.
Iâm not going to beat a dead horse, but you know, dear reader, that I have been telling people to introduce yourselves to the people sitting near you in a theater. You just never know whom you will meet.
So here I was at Seven Angels production of âChristmas Eve at Earleneâs Dinerâ when during intermission Maureen Scott turned around and introduced herself to me. She did not know that I was a critic and I did not know anything about her.
