Eighty-two beautifully handcrafted Christmas cards are winging their way to Sunhill Nursing Home courtesy of some talented and caring school children in Dunleer.
The idea was the brainchild of Gerardine Keaney, who organised children from the local school Scoil Bhride NS, who also attend the New Leaf youth programme, to create the special cards for the older people. We re delighted to be able to present these to all the residents of Sunhill, and there is one for each person, so no one feels left out, says Gerardine. The children have worked really hard, designing them and making them, and have really enjoyed this project for Christmas.
