TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 4 Florida State softball team begins their 40th season as a fastpitch softball program Thursday afternoon when they take on Lipscomb on the first of four days of the JoAnne Graf Classic at JoAnne Graf Field. Standing room tickets are available at seminoles.com/tickets. Fans are able to bring their own chairs to sit on the new deck in the left field berm. Clear bag policy will be in effect for all home games. Thursday's doubleheader against Lipscomb will begin at 4 p.m. with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes following game one. ACC Network Extra will have the coverage for all of FSU's games this weekend with Shawn Davison (Play-by-Play), Alex Powers (Color) and Alexandra DeCapua (Sideline) on the call. The Noles will take on Longwood at 1:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. before wrapping up opening weekend against Purdue at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Fans will get their first chance to see the Florida State softball team tomorrow afternoon at the annual Garnet and Gold Scrimmage and Fan Day. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. with festivities beginning at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free and the clear bag policy is in effect.
The Noles will also be hosting its annual First Pitch Party in the Champions Club following the scrimmage. The event will begin at 4 p.m. with players signing autographs from 4-4:45 p.m. Fans can buy tickets to the First Pitch Party here.
The Noles will begin their season next week at the JoAnne Graf Classic at the Softball Complex on Thursday, Feb. 9 where they will take on Lipscomb at 6 p.m. Single-game tickets for the first month of the season can be found at seminoles.com/tickets.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Single-game tickets for Florida State softball's first month of the season are now on sale to the public. The Seminoles will host the JoAnne Graf Classic (Feb. 9-12), the Unconquered Invitational (Feb. 23-26) and the Dugout Club Classic (Mar. 3-5) as well as single games against Florida A&M on Feb. 14 and North Florida on Feb. 22. Tickets for the remaining home games in March will go on sale Mar. 1 while tickets for the remaining series in April and May will go on sale Apr. 3.
The Seminoles are coming off its 18th ACC Championship and its 34th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Seminoles return six out of its seven top hitters from the 2022 season as well as ace Kathryn Sandercock.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State softball players Kathryn Sandercock and Mack Leonard were named to the Top 50 Watch List for USA Softball's Collegiate Player of the Year award on Tuesday afternoon. A D1 Softball Second Team All-American and an NFCA Second Team All-American in 2022, Sandercock looks to finish her illustrious career in style in 2023. Sandercock boasts an impressive 79-8 record in the circle as a Seminole. In 2022, Sandercock went 30-3 with a 1.44 ERA while striking out 159 batters. In 26 starts, Sandercock threw six complete game shutouts and gave up just 40 earned runs in 194.1 innings. Sandercock has put the nation on notice as she was ranked No. 7 in both D1 Softball's and Extra Inning Softball's preseason top 100 lists. In her first season with the Seminoles in 2022, Leonard made a name for herself as the First Team All-ACC honoree started 60 games for the Seminoles.
