Pupils singing to residents from outside the care home PUPILS at Allanson Street Primary School have created a handmade gift for every resident at Parr Care Home this Christmas to spread a little festive cheer. Over the past two weeks, each year group in school has created gifts for the residents, which have included a card, Christmas decorations, a calendar and a personalised DVD of the children sending individual messages.
Students with some of the gifts Joanne Foster, office and events manager, from the Care Home delivered gift tags to school which detailed some of the treats the residents would like for Christmas. Allanson Street families then took a tag, bought the gift and delivered it back to school.
