Disrupting a Tree Lighting ceremony in city hall to protest what they call injustice in society. Chopper three shows firefighters on the roof trying to gain control from up above. The fire broke out just before 7 30 wednesday. Neighbors say it started in an abandoned building next door to the apartments and quickly spread. Two hours later, smoke still pours from the second floor. And flames light up the sky. From the street firefighters can be seen moving through the building. Next next door to the abandoned building and heard banging on her doors. She talked to Eyewitness News as she watched units next to hers burn but didnt want to show her face. When i looked out the window they told me the house next door was burning down and to get out many i grabbed the stuff that was in my reach and iran out the back door.
