Following the Governor’s recent mandate to shutdown indoor dining from Dec. 12 to Jan. 4, the restaurant industry never ceases to amaze with their ingenious and whimsical ways to stay afloat. Novelty outdoor set-ups and heated porches, delivery, takeout and contactless pick-up featuring holiday meals and house specialties are keeping these eateries from folding. Who would have thought a year ago we’d be gleefully carting home 32-ounce carafes of homemade Fresco eggnog, and oysters, or dressing warmly and heading outside to eat in a snow globe.
