this afternoon. 5:15 this afternoon. police are still trying to figure out if any of the victims are connected. they re trying to determine why someone would walk into a church and start shooting people. they are usually the last place anybody would ever worry about their safety. but this church became the scene of a deadly shooting. police say a custodian at st. peter s episcopal church made the gruesome discovery inside of the church office. at this point, we do not know how long the bodies were there. we do know that one was transported to shock trauma. it has to be someone very disturbed. i do not know what would take you to that point. swat team members sitting up and prepared to enter the church. no one else was found and the church, but k-9 units and helicopters searched the area for hours. police eventually found a man s body and a gun at nearby in a wooded area. the very real possibility that this was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. this is a peaceful n
