New CTE teacher hired at Sault High

SAULT STE. MARIE The Sault Area Board of Education has made the decision to hire Craig MacDonald as the new career and technical education automotive teacher for the Sault Area Career Center.
The previous automotive teacher who had worked there since 2004, Timothy Strader, was placed on leave after facing multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct. We had only one applicant for the position . and his references were outstanding,” said Dr. Tim Hall, superintendent of Sault Schools. “It is very difficult to find qualified people with this particular certification, so we feel we are very lucky to have him join our team. We’re very pleased to have found an experienced, qualified teacher for this program.”
