Now 25 years ago, john herzog approached a young Woman Working at the library of congress where the hamilton papers are lodged, and this woman not even a grad student had already cure rated an exhibit on hamilton. It became one of the earliest exhibits and of course, that was Joann Freeman. Her history with hamilton from early age, it was very extensive. We have many hamilton residents in the audience, but how many have rather them and several times . Joann has. Her research took her to the grange in scotland as well as the others. And while she was at st. Croix, she emersed herself in the culture by living there for several weeks. Well, good evening once again from our nbc news headquarters here in new york. At the end of another week, day 1,093 of the Trump Administration, which means we are now 293 days away from the 2020 president ial election. Tonight we are just over 72 hours away from the opening arguments in the Senate Impeachment trial, and another new trove of evidence has been released by House Democrats courtesy of lev parnas, the indicted Rudy Giuliani associate who spoke to Rachel Maddow for a twopart interview here this week. Its not even close to being true. And of all the people in the world to know that the president of the United States was lying about a 10 pay raise that he pushed through himself and he fought ba

Marie yovanovitch, Longtime Foreign Service officer, now former ambassador to ukraine, told congress and the viewing audience watching at home how trump and his people worked to drive her from her job. More on that in a moment. The other witness, state Department Official david holmes, stationed at the u. S. Embassy in ukraine, appeared behind closed doors, testifying about an incident we first learned about on wednesday on Live Television during testimony from the former top diplomat in ukraine, ambassador william taylor, about how holmes heard a phone call between trump and ambassador to the eu Gordon Sondland in which the president asked sondland if ukraine would investigate the bidens. This conversation took place one day after the Infamous Trump phone call wit
