clearly a tragedy. unfortunate about these miners. joan quigley had an insightful piece on coal mining. one of the key issues makes it so dangerous the workplace changes everyday as you dig through the scene with the coal. but she said in 1907 there were 3200 in 200918. it is still gotten safer that is worth keeping in perspective as we go for the unavoidable human interest of these families. and miners know it is dangerous work, their families know it as well. let me defend the concept. news hook for one moment. would it be better if we kept soli long range focus on issues like this. the fact of the matter there are a million things to cover any week in the news. most of us find ourselves rushing towards stories where something dramatic just happened. sure we are going to do mining
