Former FTC chairwoman to speak at Rotary meeting
FAIRFIELD Former U.S. Federal Trades Commission Chairwoman Edith Ramirez will speak via Zoom at the Fairfield-Suisun Rotary Club meeting April 13.
“Our club is truly honored to have a prominent national leader and expert in the area of cybersecurity and data protection address us,” Rotary Club President Joan Lovell said in a press release.
The meeting is set for noon.
Ramirez joined the FTC as a commissioner in April 2010 and served as chairwoman from March 2013 to January 2017. She currently co-heads the Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation practice in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles for the firm of Hogan Lovells.
