Ron passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born in Kankakee, IL, on June 27, 1956, to Holger Jensen and the late Joan Jensen. Ron served 22 years in the Army. While in the military, Ron traveled the world. His service took him to Germany; Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm; Somalia for The United Nations Peacekeeping Mission and several domestic duty stations. The one place that Ron thought he would see but didn’t get the opportunity to was the state of Nebraska. After his 22-year military career, Ron started his second career as a “cable guy.” He worked for Charter Communications from 1995 until his retirement in 2018. He loved being retired, but not one to sit and stagnate, Ron set off on his third career, mastering golf. He spent as much time as he could
