RESIDENTS in Highcliffe and Walford have been asked to give their feedback on the final draft of plans to change the look of their high street and parish. A final draft of the Highcliffe and Walkford Neighbourhood Plan was released for citizens on Friday January 22 to give their opinion on the proposals before it is submitted to BCP Council. The draft plan has been prepared by the Parish Council together with its Planning Consultant Jo Witherden and follows a number of earlier ‘rounds’ of consultation with its residents, having started back in November 2019. Ward and Parish Councillor Nigel Brooks, who is leading the preparation of the Plan said: “This is the culmination of over a year’s work by a subgroup of the Parish Council and I thank them all for their dedication to complete the Plan particularly in these difficult times of Covid-19.
