A CONSORTIUM comprising several of the Island s leading festival and summer show organisers are more optimistic about 2021 following an encouraging meeting with the government s culture minister and her comments made in the House of Commons. Sarah Moss, event organiser for Jack Up Events, who leads the consortium, is hopeful of government insurance backing as they plan their shows for next year and avoid another financial meltdown as they did this summer, with cancellations, due to Covid-19.
