Initially, the ABVP seemed poised for victory, leading to surprise among many observers. However, as the vote counting progressed, the Left surged ahead, clinching victory on all fronts.
A JNU student has moved the Court arguing that elections are in violation of Lyngdoh committee recommendations and political interests have take over the process.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) elections, which have not been held for the last four years, will take place in March this year.
