Reliance Jio: Analysts further said that on a year-on-year basis, Jio’s ARPU increased 2.5% to Rs 181.7, helped by strong growth in the fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) subscriber base which is estimated at about 45% year-on-year. The telecom operator’s FTTH subscriber base, of 10 million at the end of the second quarter, yielded higher ARPU than mobile subscribers.
Reliance Jio: In the 5G mobile network metric, Jio scored 335.75 while Bharti Airtel scored 179.49. Jio 5G users enjoyed a median download speed of 416.55Mbps (vs Airtel’s 213.3Mbps), and a median upload speed of 21.20Mbps (vs Airtel’s 19.83).
Reliance Jio: Revenue from incremental ARPU in mobile 5G could reach $0.79 billion if 150 million subscribers paid Rs 50 in incremental ARPU, BofA analysis indicated.
