Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Beijing on Monday. Aside from vowing to deepen bilateral ties and strengthen cooperation, Xi told Lukashenko that China firmly supports Belarus in pursuing a development path suited to its national conditions, and opposes external interference in Belarus internal affairs.
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday attended the BRICS extraordinary virtual summit on the Palestinian-Israeli issue, saying it is imperative that the parties to the conflict must end hostilities and achieve a ceasefire immediately. The summit is the first time since the group’s expansion in August.
There is no thaw in the cold relationship between the US and China after their respective presidents met recently. But business is pushing the two leaders to come to terms and get over the idea of decoupling. The leaders’ meeting also opened up channels of communication between the militaries of the two countries
