We invite members of Liverpool's East and Southeast Asian community to join our experts for a behind the scenes zoology tour. In 1914, hundreds of birds and mammals were given to the Liverpool Museums by the Selangor Museum in Kuala Lumpur (the de facto national museum of Malaysia pre-independence). The collections were amassed during large-scale wild animal collecting by Sarawakian staff of the Selangor Museum across the Thai-Malay peninsula at the turn of the 20th century.
