That was a fascinating show.a second cousin to the WWE Evolution show of a few years ago. Evolution was a fantastic event with a lot of great matches, but WWE chose not to repeat it.

Indie Wrestler Suffers Injuries In Bad Ladder Bump, Doc Gallows And Tommy Dreamer Comment

Georgia indie wrestler Lazer (Chris Johnson) suffered multiple injuries after jumping from a ladder at a weekend event put on by Doc Gallows’ Lariato Pro Wrestling Guild promotion.
The match took place this past weekend at the West Laurens 6th Grade Academy in Dublin, Georgia. Lazer was competing in a multi-man match when he leaped from the top of a tall ladder, to a group of wrestlers down below. He suffered a fractured hip and fractured femur, according to Georgia Wrestling History.
It was noted that Lazer expects to be out of the ring for 6 months. His hip came out of the socket when he did the dive, and his femur fractured on the landing. He went on to finish the match, despite the injuries. Lazer then underwent surgery the next morning, Sunday.
One thing I’m looking forward to here in 2021 is the opportunity to attend live wrestling shows again. Even before the pandemic hit, it’s been far too long since I got a chance to go out to the matches. Seems like I always have other stuff going on, like a job or a writing thing. Once these major companies get up and running again, and make their way towards the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, I’ll do whatever I can to be there and enjoy some pro wrestling alongside my fellow wrestling fans.
Assuming, of course, that we beat this pandemic thing and live wrestling shows with big crowds becomes a safe endeavor again. We’re getting close!
