Drag Brunch at Bloom Bar and Lounge The Hard Rock Hotel has announced that they will be extending their Drag Brunch at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays through Sept. 10. For $85, guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat.
There are just three more Thursday shows this summer in South Lake Tahoe’s Lakeview Commons series, including this week with the Jimbo Scott String Band. Grover Anderson opens. Scott’s a songwriting stalwart with a voice like sweet honey and a beard that used to be as hairy as ZZ Top. He recently trimmed his bristles. “My sons were doing pullups on my beard, so I figured I’d give them a break,” Scott said.
