goldman sachs it s probably chump change. thank you angie. and the sec has definitely been busy lately. it reached a $28 million settlement with peacock capital on insider-trading charges with microsoft shares. and it also busted a new york financial advisor for a $30 million ponzi scheme. it s been more than 40 hours since bp started the top kill method to try and plug the oil leak. this video shows that operation in action. where a mixture of mud, oil and gas was flowing out of 4 holes from the blow out preventer, as of thursday afternoon. the heavy mud is eventually supposed to plug the leak. meanwhile, new government figures show the bp oil spill could be bigger than the exxon valdez spill back in 1989. the goverment now has a higher estimate on how much oil has been leaking. it comes to between 12,000 and 19,000 barrels of oil a day. that s up to 4 times the amount previously thought. and new information shows bp knew the spill could have been much bigger than it first c
