The 30th annual Jim Thorpe WinterFest kicks off tonight with a luminary walk throughout the historic downtown.
Event organizers said the three-day festival has provided an economic boom to the area at.
The 29th annual Jim Thorpe WinterFest is being held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in downtown Jim Thorpe.
The annual celebration will feature ice carvings and ice bars, live entertainment.
