BOLD School District board members have narrowed their superintendent search to two finalists, with an Ellsworth administrator not making the final cut.
The West Central Tribune reported that after interviewing four candidates on Tuesday, school board members agreed to bring back two of the candidates for a second interview on Thursday.
Board members will interview Jim Menton, BOLD high school principal at 6 p.m. and Patrick Beiermann, assistant elementary principal with Willmar Public Schools, at 7:15 p.m.
Along with the two, school board members interviewed Cori Reynolds, community education director at Brainerd Public Schools, and John Willey, superintendent/principal in the Ellsworth School District, on Tuesday afternoon.

Jim Menton, the high school principal in the BOLD School District , and Patrick Beiermann, an assistant elementary principal in the Willmar Public School District, are the finalists to be the next BOLD superintendent. They both are scheduled for a second interview Thursday night.
