Police Find Marijuana, Meth Lab Materials in Fort Collins Home

Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) recovered over 100 marijuana plants and methamphetamine materials from a local home during a recent investigation. According to a press release from the City of Fort Collins, the investigation began earlier this year after authorities became aware of possible illegal activity at a residence in the 2200 block of Ayrshire Drive. Officers later discovered marijuana plants, marijuana packaged for distribution, chemicals for producing meth and illegal narcotics within the home. The home in question is a rental property, and police say the owner was unaware of the situation.
