Hidden among the exhibits of Kewanee’s bygone era are more unusual items that people might miss if they’re not paying attention. With the grand opening of the new Kewanee Historical Museum scheduled for this weekend, President Mike DeWalt took the time to point out some of the odder items on exhibit.
Most of the items have been around for a long time and weren’t uncovered in the move, DeWalt said. But for the last four year, DeWalt said he’s spent time uncovering items that were new to him.
