The City of Greater Sudbury is closing its pools, arenas and fitness centres in response to the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases and the moving of the region into the province’s red zone category.
“Our recent numbers are very alarming,” Mayor Brian Bigger said in a release. “We have all worked too long and too hard to become complacent now. I cannot stress enough the message that we all need to stay home and leave only for essential purposes.
