Trump won the district by 12 points back in 2016 but polls show a neck and neck race between republican dan bishop and democratic dan mccreedy. Trump tried to tip the scales from bishop but with his eye on the 2020 election the president spent much of the rally defending his rd and attacking the democratic party.
