Thats a shame. Reporter allen lehman is saddened. A 9yearold girl died in this crash near his house in Prince Georges County. This is a bad intersection. They have accidents probably once a month. But this is the first time i recall a fatality. Reporter police tell me the 9yearold was a passenger in this bmw. Her mother was the driver. They tried to make a left on to Canberra Drive from woodyard road. They turned in front of this car, police say, causing to it flip over. The driver has two broken legs. And an injured back. The 9yearold died on the scene. And her mother isnt seriously injured. Its going to be tough on them and her. Not to mention the rest of the family. Reporter its the second crash tonight.
