. off the top tonight, breaking news. a monster fire raging in a maryland apartment complex. right now firefighters are trying to get these flames under control. and dozens of people are forced out of their homes on one of the coldest nights of the year. thanks for joining us at 10:00. i m will thomas in for brian. i m laura evans in for sean. a fire in for shawn. a fire broke out this afternoon. wisdom martin just arrived tonight. what do you know about this. reporter: it has been upgraded to a four-alarm fire. you can see there are firefighters still here on the scene trying to get this situation under control. this fire this phone call for this fire did come in around 8:30 tonight at the amounts on georgia avenue in aspen hill. these are three-level garden style units. originally they were told someone was trapped on the second floor. eventually they found out everyone got out okay and there were no injuries. at least 14 of these units are affected by the fire.
