Last week we gave you a sneak preview of this major interview with Ken Yates, talking all about the recent release of Cerulean (Extended Edition) and his concert tonight (October 5th) at the National Arts Centre s Fourth Stage. Today we feature the entire interview and lots of music from the re-release of Cerulean including a number of new songs and some reworked versions of songs on the original release of Cerulean. Ken talks about how much working with Jim Bryson has influenced his sound and how he worked with Dan Ledwell on several new songs for the Extended Edition. We talk about some of the characters in the songs on this album and how he works to capture their essence in song. We also talk about the incredible singer-songwriter Stephanie Lambring and so we play one of her songs on the show today along with a song from Cerulean that features Stephanie singing with Ken.
