Fat Daddy s Hot Chicken & Waffles expanding to MGM Grand Detroit this year

(WXYZ) â Fat Daddy s Hot Chicken & Waffles, which became famous for its massive spicy chicken sandwiches Downriver, announced it is expanding into MGM Grand Detroit in the coming months.
The restaurant, owned by local chef and entrepreneur Jim Brandon, announced the expansion last week.
MGM Grand Detroit is proud to support another Detroit-born-and-bred business, MGM Grand Detroit President David Tsai said in a statement.
Other Detroit companies in the casino include Detroit Wing Company and National Coney Island.
Fat Daddy s is known for its Fat Daddy sandwich, which includes a jumbo boneless chicken, on a brichoe bun with pickles, comeback sauce and slaw. It comes in five different heat levels: country-style no heat, mild, hot, X hot and Too Damn Hot.

Set on a street lined with century-old homes, the 110-year-old Craftsman boasts another bit of L.A. history it was once owned by Edward Warren Hoak, the chief designer of Union Station, real estate records show.
Overhanging eaves, tapered brick columns and wood shingles bring Craftsman charm to the exterior. Past a covered front porch, the two-story home opens to wood-covered spaces with stained glass, pocketing doors, casement windows and built-ins. The moldings, beams and wainscoting are all made from Douglas fir.
Highlights include a cozy library, living room with a brick fireplace and primary suite with a sitting room. It has four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in 2,166 square feet.
