City names municipal electric task force Monday, December 21, 2020 6:00 PM
The Decorah Sustainability Commission is charged, in part, with helping the City of Decorah implement its Sustainability Plan, which was approved and adopted by the City Council in February 2020.
One of the action items in the Plan called for the establishment of this municipal electric utility task force.
The Commission voted to recommend the names of task force members at a special meeting of the Commission Dec. 2. The Decorah City Council considered the recommendation from the Commission at their regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 7. The council voted 6-1 to appoint the task force ,which will begin its work in January 2021.
