SNOHOMISH, Wash. When Governor Inslee ordered another shutdown for indoor dining in late November, The Maltby Cafe saw sales drop by 90 percent.
But co-owner Tana Baumler refused to ask for or accept help. So many people are failing, why should we get money? There were so many components, explained Baumler.

Other customers and strangers from across the country have also answered the call, big time. Customer Jim Barger set up a GoFundMe page for the restaurant, raising $123,673.00 to date. Baumler said with these funds she can pay her employees’ health care and retirement funds for the next several months and maybe get some sleep.
