Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean travelled to Alaska to skate on natural ice – and learn about the effects of the climate crisis
Ice gave Chris Dean his career, but it also took down the roof of his house. Two years ago, a freak storm came over his home in Colorado, USA: “Hailstones as big as my fist which demolished my roof”, says Dean, 62, one half of renowned ice dancing duo Torvill and Dean.
