To the editor:
The Journal-World reported that Deb Umberger was frustrated with the vaccine sign-up process. So am I. By the time I got an alert and completed the online form for an appointment all available slots were taken. It made you question who are the 500 people who are actually receiving the vaccine? How did they find out about the vaccine?
Finding out on Jan. 29 from those being vaccinated how they found out about the vaccine and how they were able to successfully make an appointment is key to understanding if the process was really fair. How about those with no access to their online form? How about those with a disability? I tried calling the health department and was put on hold, and after two hours they never answered and their voicemail was full.
