Easter traditions return to the Northland

One year later, the threat of the pandemic still looms, but with more and more people getting vaccinated, many Easter traditions are returning. On Saturday, families had the opportunity to meet the Easter bunny at both the Fairlawn Mansion in Superior and the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth. At the Fairlawn Mansion, tour guide Mac Jardine, said they had a full day of people scheduled to visit. “With green grass starting to come out and plants starting to grow, it’s nice to see the outside world a little bit and get some fresh air,” Jardine said.

ICC Wales launches series of masterclasses

23 February 2021 - Submitted by Olivia Powell Submitted by Olivia Powell on 23 February 2021 ICC Wales has announced the launch of a series of online masterclasses designed to provide lifestyle and career motivation as well as a platform for attendees to connect with friends, colleagues and communities .  Running from 26 February to the end of April, ICC Wales Live will feature live-streamed masterclasses which are free to attend. The convention centre has teamed up with a number of speakers who will deliver masterclasses on a range of topics. Each masterclass will be an hour long and include an introduction from ICC Wales and a Q&A session at the end.

All Party Parliamentary Group evidence session held

Chaired by the Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP, Chair of the APPG, and attended by a number of MP’s, including several APPG Vice Chairs and Officers, the session heard evidence from a mixture of representatives from across the events sector, including; Simon Hughes - Business Visits & Events Partnership, Jane Longhurst - Meetings Industry Association, Chris Skeith - Association of Event Organisers, Susan Tanner – National Outdoor Events Association,  Steve Heap – Events Industry Forum and Rick Stainton – One Industry One Voice.
