Holden Forests & Gardens has high hopes for new People for Trees initiative
HOLDEN FORESTS & GARDENS
Holden Forests & Gardens wants Northeast Ohioans to see the forests and the trees as a way of improving our environment and combating climate change.
The organization on Thursday, Feb. 25, announced the launch of what it calls People for Trees, a pledge-based initiative that aims to have 15,000 trees planted and cared for by 2025 throughout Northeast Ohio.
Jill Koski, president and CEO of Holden Forests & Gardens, said in a statement that the organization is inviting every member of our community to take notice of the trees around us, grow in our appreciation and love of trees, and make a pledge to plant a tree in your yard, at your business, or in your neighborhood.
