Mavern House Nursing Home in Shaw was sold to Welford Healthcare. Brother and sister team, Jill James and John Pearson, previously owned the Corsham Road home for more than 13 years. The pair decided to sell to retire from the care sector and pursue alternative business ventures. Welford Healthcare owns several care homes.
