James Carlisle MacLeod of Stuart, Florida and Boothbay, Maine, and formerly of Kent, Connecticut, passed away Nov. 24, 2023, at the age of 76, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida, with his wife by his side, following a brief illness. Jim.
ROMNEY — The Hampshire County grand jury handed up a slew of indictments last week, ranging from DUI offenses, drug charges, sexual abuse and even a voluntary manslaughter.
The Redmond School District is seeking qualified people to apply for a vacancy on its Board of Directors. The board consists of five members elected at large. Those interested must be registered voters and residents of the Redmond School District for one year immediately preceding the appointment. Applications will be accepted until June 13, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. An applicant will be appointed, or interviews will be scheduled the evening of June 22, 2022.
