Former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested in the SSC scam case on July 23 after crores of rupees in cash, gold believed to be in kilograms and documents of properties were found at the apartments of his aide Arpita Mukherjee.
A Special Court in Kolkata on Wednesday sent former West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee to two-day Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody in connection with the SSC recruitment scam.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) sought four days' custody of former Education Minister Partha Chatterjee in the School Services Commission (SSC) scam case before a special court in Kolkata on Wednesday.
