The trial of seven Chinese nationals charged with human trafficking and child labour was on Monday postponed until Thursday to allow the accused to raise funds to pay for their legal representation.
The Johannesburg Magistrates Court has granted amendments to bail conditions to accused number one and denied bail amendments to accused number six of seven Chinese nationals arrested for alleged human trafficking and the violation of South Africa’s labour laws.
Seven Chinese nationals arrested for alleged human trafficking and child labour have made an admission of guilt for violation of South Africa’s labour laws, while they still face trial for other charges.
