Cocoa Cashmere bought out of administration
Cocoa Cashmere has been bought out of administration by privately owned company Chantemere Limited, Drapers can reveal.
The British knitwear label, designed in London, appointed restructuring firm Quantuma as administrators on 26 November, as a result of Covid-19 headwinds. Half of the company’s eight head office staff were made redundant in March.
The business was bought in a pre-pack administration deal on 26 November by UK fashion company Chantemere Limited, which is owned by the wife of Cocoa Cashmere founder and managing director Harry Ma, Jianhua Huang.
The online and wholesale business will continue to trade as Cocoa Cashmere.
